CL OPTIMIST Club Presents 7 on 7 Flag Football for 2011 @ Canyon Lake!!!!!
This is a NON-SELECT League - run and operated by Optimist Club Members. You may join the Optimist Club but do not need to be a member to coach or to play 7 on 7 football for Boys and Girls
Registration begins Feb 6 - March 6th. (SHARP DEADLINE-PLEASE) (Spring Break CISD March 14th-18th) Season begins April 16th - May 21st.
Registration Fee is $30.00 payable to: Optimist Club of Canyon Lake

We are shooting to have two games per Saturday-depending on how many kids register. Each Game will be 40 min.s long, played on 40yd fields with two refs.
Each team will be given a color shirt and a team name will be placed on the back of the shirt along with number chosen by the player. Optimist Club LOGO will be on the front of the shirts.
Here are the divisions of players:
7-8 Freshman 9-10 JV 11-12 Varsity
You must be these ages by January 1st 2011 to be slotted into these divisions.
Child will get Shirt, award, and 6 weeks of non-select competition of Flag Football.
Players will be placed on teams through random drawings on March 6th @ the Sliver Sage Cafe - coaches may attend-( next to Goin-Postal)
Each team will have no more than 12 players Coaches needed, please sign up.
Since this is the first ever season for 7 on 7 flag football in the Canyon Lake area the Optimist Club has no idea of how many players will sign up to play.
However CLOC looks forward to starting this annual league so that our community has an outdoor fun sports venue to give our youth extra optional sports experience.
